Mohammad Arfeen is an advanced endoscopy fellow at Cedars-Sinai. Prior to this he was a gastroenterology fellow, internal medicine resident and chief fellow and resident at Franciscan Health - Olympia Fields; he has an interest in advanced and interventional endoscopy. He is also Co-Host of the Decipher:HealthTech Podcast.

Served as a graders for 2 sections of Calculus with Analytics Lab I, was responsible for grading approximately 40 lab reports every week and reporting grades to professor.
Bridging the Gaps Intern (Summer 2014)
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
As part of Bridging the Gaps my partner and I worked with a local community organization called Voices for Independence. We assisted them with their daily social activities, and provided dental and health education to the consumers. In addition to this we surveyed various restaurants, museums, and public attractions in Erie to create a map showing over 100 locations in Erie and their level of accessibility to individuals with various disabilities.

American Medical Students Association (Benedictine University Chapter)
Elected to serve as vice-president for the 2011-2012 school year. Organized the third annual Run to Fun 5K event again supporting the HomeCare Physicians foundation. Assisted the president with organizing various weekly events, and the first Saint Baldrick's event held at Benedictine University.

American Medical Students Association (Benedictine University Chapter)
Elected to serve as president for the 2010-2011 school year. Organized the second annual Run to Fun 5K event again supporting the HomeCare Physicians foundation. Created and organized a membership campaign that resulted in Benedictine University AMSA becoming the fastest growing chapter in our region.

Acquired over 200 hours over volunteering, assisted emergency room staff in anyway possible. Responsibilities due to seniority and experience have since expanded to include training new emergency room volunteers.
