Mohammad Arfeen is a student at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. He will be graduating in May of 2012 with a B.S. (Bachelors of Science) degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He is involved with student research at Benedictine University; also he has served as a Teachers' Assistant (TA) in various courses. He is available for speaking engagements. Occasionally he creates a website or two, and he enjoys writing.

Student Researcher (2010-Present)
Beginning as a student research in the Summer Research Program at Benedictine University under Dr. Timothy Marin, and continuing with research during the semester with Dr. Peter Nelson.
Teachers' Assistant (2009-Present)
Served as a TA for the following courses General Chemistry Lab I (1 semester), General Chemistry Lab II (2 semesters), and Calculus with Analytics Lab I (I semester), will be serving as TA for the following courses in the upcoming semester Organic Chemistry for Majors Lab I, General Chemistry Lab I.

Elected to serve as president for the 2010-2011 school year. More information will follow as the term progresses.
Founder/Writer (2010-Present)
Founded popular blog with resources for students on the premedical track, it receives over 1,000 readers every month. Serve as a writer as well as an editor, the blog has expanded to 3 writers now.
Emergency Room Unit Aide (2009-Present)
Acquired over 200 hours over volunteering, assisted emergency room staff in anyway possible. Responsibilities due to seniority and experience have since expanded to include training new emergency room volunteers.
Volunteer Coordinator (2009-2010)
Worked with a co-volunteer coordinator, organized the first "Run to Fun 5K" event and raised over $1,200 for the HomeCare Physicians Foundation. Organized monthly volunteer events throughout the semester.
